A 2008 Church Almanac was published by the Deseret News.

It containes additional data that has been added to wikipedia here.

This data shows that the church is still growing better than 2.5 % per year, indicating the image produced by the Deseret news as being inaccurate.

This decreasing rate of growth seems to be consistent with the growth rates predicted by Roger Loomis and Anderson in his paper published in 2002 on church growth here.

We are happy that the church has made this data available in this printed almanac, and for the people that transferred this data online. We think it would be great if much more of this kind of data was made available to the public, including such things as sacrament meeting attendance figures and other indicators of member activity which the church does track.
