Blue sky/water source. Green mountains. White snow Sandy S swoosh. 8-point star & 7-vein cottonwood leaf indicates 1871 year founded. Leaf harkens to "Heart of the Wasatch." 8-point sun symbolizes Utah’s eight tribal nations.
