Blue sky. Green mountains. White snow/forward direction. 8-point gold star & 7-point star indicates 1871 year founded. Retro wheel indicating city's past and progression. Gold sunburst. Gold also represents Sandy's soil. 8-point sun symbolizes Utah's eight tribal nations.
