Economic and Tax Policies

Whatever the government does, somebody has to pay for it. In a democracy, we believe that the people should be able to decide what they want the government to do. We pay for these initiatives with our taxes. Therefore, taxes are a foundational part of a working democracy, and we pay them willingly as a civic duty.
