Storm Water is Rain, Sleet, Hail, and Snow. Whenever we have a storm all of the water runs down our streets and into our Storm Water system.
Where does it go?
Storm Water flows through a massive system of pipes and channels straight into the Jordan River, Little Cottonwood Creek, Dry Creek, and eventually to the Great Salt Lake.
What is the problem or issue?
Storm Water is Untreated, therefor anything dumped or dropped on the ground or in the gutter gets washed away by Storm Water and constitutes pollution.
