Alta Canyon Sports Center

Also built in 1984, the Alta Canyon Sports Center (ACSC) is a well-loved but aging facility that provides a great amenity to our community. Recently, the city hired a consultant to prepare various scenarios and options for a remodel or rebuild of this facility. This would include providing offices for the Parks and Recreation administrative staff and relocating them to this location. ACSC is currently funded, in part, by a special taxing district that includes only a portion of the city, along with revenue from the city’s general fund. It is anticipated that a remodel or rebuild would result in a modification of the funding method so that all our residents are involved and can continue utilizing and enjoying this amenity.
