Sandy City Flag Redesign Public Vote
Sandy City Utah's Flag Design Review Committee presented these finalists for a public vote.

A - Blue sky. Green mountains White snowcaps. 8-point star & 7 peak point mountain zigzag indicates 1871 year founded. 2 Utah shapes tipped (making up the mountains) with Sandy in the "heart" of it. 8-point sun symbolizes Utah's eight tribal nations.
B - Blue for sky. Green for mountains. White for greatest snow. 8 outer points & 7 inner points on sun indicates 1871 year founded. Reflection of mountains and Sandy sunrises. Harkens to our city logo. 8-point sun symbolizes Utah's eight tribal nations.
C - Blue sky and water source. Green mountains. White snow band. 8 outer points & 7 inner points on sun indicates 1871 year founded. Sandy S swoosh. Reflection in the water and Sandy sunrises. 8-point sun symbolizes Utah's eight tribal nations.
D - Blue sky. Green mountains. White snow/forward direction. 8-point gold star & 7-point star indicates 1871 year founded. Retro wheel indicating city's past and progression. Gold sunburst. Gold also represents Sandy's soil. 8-point sun symbolizes Utah's eight tribal nations.
E - Blue sky/water source. Green mountains. White snow Sandy S swoosh. 8-point star & 7-vein cottonwood leaf indicates 1871 year founded. Leaf harkens to "Heart of the Wasatch." 8-point sun symbolizes Utah’s eight tribal nations.
F - Blue sky. Green and white mountains. White snowcaps. 8-point gold star & 7-vein cottonwood eat/tree indicates 1871 year founded. Depicts entrance to our canyons. Gold represents Sandy's soil. 8-point sun symbolizes Utah’s eight tribal nations.
