Dear Mr. Dorsey:
The President of the United States, who is now deliberately inciting racial violence on your platform as a distraction from his incompetent response to a pandemic that has left over 100,000 Americans dead, wants to revoke Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act in order to punish you for correctly labeling his fascist tweets.
Call his bluff.
This would be an ideal time to inform the president that in preemptive preparation for 230’s revocation, you will be treating his tweets as if you are a publisher, not a platform. Since publishers are held responsible for what is posted on their sites, the @realDonaldTrump account represents too high a liability risk for Twitter, given how much disinformation, hatred, racism, and possibly actionable libel his account posts on a daily basis. Be gracious, thank him for his past patronage, and then delete everything he’s ever posted.
The members of this camp thank you for your consideration.
