As made clear by the 2014 essay on this topic by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, DNA science has not reached a point where it is capable of making definitive conclusions about the Book of Mormon. Those who use DNA research to "disprove" the Book of Mormon generally do not understand the limitations of the findings we have, and they are making sweeping generalizations that simply cannot be sustained by our current level of scientific understanding.
