Do We Need a Bitcoin ETF?

The press has been very negative and derogatory towards the "Winklevii" twins and their effort to get a Bitcoin based ETF started. A small sample of the large number of negative press articles from trusted financial sources is included at the end of this statement.

However, one camp is arguing that while these are trusted financial experts, they have no clue about what Bitcoins are and how they work, and that the arguments they are using are full of ignorant mistakes. The assertion is that there is an emerging, obviously still minority intelligent expert consensus, including the Winklevoss twins, that sees a very different future than what these popular assumed ignorant bleating masses see.

Either way, if there is something to what these negative traditional "Financial experts" are saying, they should be able to 'canonize' their reasoning, find out which of the arguments they are using are accepted by other experts as not mistaken reasoning (no experts would be willing to support mistaken arguments). But if there is a much more justified still minority expert consensus about what Bitcoins are, that is lost in all this mistaken popular bleating noise, this expert consensus should be able to stand out, in comparison to any other POV, in this survey topic.

If you would like to see such an ETF fund, and more importantly, if you'd like to invest in such, this is where you can communicate this or any other view, concisely and quantitatively, amplifying the wisdom of the crowd.

This open survey topic is part of the expert "Crypto Currency Survey Project".
