The Millennium is Near

Many religious traditions have foretold of a glorious future "Millennium". Mormons, are just one example of a Christian people that look forward to a glorious thousand year period when people are made immortal in a "twinkling of an eye"

1 Corinthians 15:52:

   In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
   at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound,
   and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
   and we shall be changed.

Doctrine and Covenants 63: 51:

   Wherefore, children shall grow up until they become old;
   old men shall die; but they shall not sleep in the dust,
   but they shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye.

3 Nephi 28:8

   And ye shall never endure the pains of death;
   but when I shall come in my glory ye shall be changed
   in the twinkling of an eye from mortality to immortality;
   and then shall ye be blessed in the kingdom of my Father.

Our hope is that any such 'twinkling' technology will be the end of death for all. That this will be the beginning of this glorious thousand year millennial period

Many religions also value genealogy and scriptures like Malachi 4:6 where it says:

   And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children,
   and the heart of the children to their fathers.

Obviously, once death is overcome, for those that survive, the primary work and goal will be to end their lonely hell and turn to the resurrection of our fathers, according to our desires to achieve justice, and our desire to pay back our ancestors for freely making this millennium possible for us, their children.

In Revelations, chapter 20, John the Revelator talks about this glorious thousand year millennial period. Verses 4 and 5 say:

   4. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them,
   and judgment was given unto them:
   and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded
   for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God,
   and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image,
   neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands;
   and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

   5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.
   This is the first resurrection.

Obviously the better anyone and their memories are preserved, the easier it will be to resurrect and restore such. Those that "worship the beast" can easily be interpreted as those that worship death and/or isolation from the living, and do not seek to have themselves preserved. While those that worship life, and seek after preserving as much of themselves as possible, including such things as cryonic preservation, will be much easier for their children to resurrect. These would obviously, easily, be resurrected during this "fist resurrection". While those that do worship the beast, and do not make adequate preparations, will not live again until the thousand years are finished - obviously condemning their 'children' to a thousand years of lonely hell, and the difficulty of thousands of years of hellishly lonely and difficult, if even possible at all, restoration work, without them.

Revelations 20: 2:

   And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil,
   and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

We view this "dragon" to be death, or any kind of spiritual isolation.

Possibly, it is our linear thinking, but we view Kurzweil's predictions as very optimistic. But we can't deny the math, so we view the possibility of this twinkling occurring as Raymond predicts, around the year 2050, and see this as the earliest time when this could occur. At the latest, we think it is very unlikely for there to be any remaining death, after the year 2100.

Beyond that, will this "thousand" year period be mere subjective time, and happen in a singularity or an instant in real time? It's hard to predict anything beyond this event horizon, so we're not sure. Either way, the difference in difficulty between overcoming death, and resurrecting all our fathers, as being huge. And it will likely be a significant period of time between the achieving of one, verses finally achieving it all, for everyone.

After such true justice is achieved, for everyone, then it will play time, and the focus will be on what Raymond describes as enabling the entire universe to spiritually "wake up".
