User Identity

  • Canonizer reserves the right to require users to verify their identities. Users who prove to be deliberately disruptive may be flagged as “not verified” and may see their account access limited or denied altogether.
  • Singular Identity - Each Canonizer account must be associated with a single person, not a group of people or an organization.  No person can have more than one identity.
  • Human Identity - Bots are not permitted on Canonizer.
  • Non-Transferable - Users are not permitted to transfer their Canonizer account to someone else.
  • Accurate Information - Users who deliberately provide inaccurate information about their identity may be subject to account limitations, up to and including banning from the site.

Disruptive Behavior

  • Disruptive behavior can be defined as: attempts to censor other users by any method.
  • Harassment
  • Libel
  • Hate speech
  • Use of sock puppets/multiple identities
  • Cloning the username of other users
  • Holding camps hostage by refusing to allow the camp to make the modifications it wants

Censorship

  • Canonizer is committed to avoiding censorship and allowing everyone to have a voice. That should not be interpreted as a license for behavior that shuts down legitimate voices through targeted disruption as outlined above. Those who work to limit the participation and expression of others leave us with no choice but to establish boundaries and limits on disruptors. This will make for an inclusive and productive conversation for all people of good will, which is what Canonizer is all about.
