Progress is good. However there are nearly always moral/ethical implications and, usually, unforeseen and unintended consequences. These should be anticipated, where possible, but in any case resolved in as timely a manner as is feasible. This has always been the way with technological progress, and resolving such social and ethical issues should be seen as an integral part of successful developments and improvements.

Progress is good. However, moral and other unethical unintended consequnsous should be anticipated, and resolved. For each step of progress, there are new issues both moral and ethical which also need to be resolved, all as part of progress.
