Statement :

Steven Lehar

Dr. Steven Lehar is an independent researcher with radical theories of mind and brain. He received his PhD in Cognitive and Neural Systems from Boston University in 1994. His extensive contributions to this field are documented on his personal web page here.

Steve's revolutionary work on "The World in Your Head" presents a compelling argument for a representational model of consciousness.

In the Theories of Consciousness topic, he is currently in the Panexperientialism camp which is a supporting sub camp of the emerging “Representational Qualia Theory” consensus camp.

Steve has also proposed a radical theory of how computational binding is achieved through harmonic resonance, or standing waves in neural tissue. See his Harmonic Resonance In The Brain.

In the best theories of Mind and Consciousness topic, he is currently in the Mind-Brain Identity camp which is a supporting sub camp of the Consciousness is Representational and Real consensus camp.

Steve has also proposed a radical theory of brain function by way of harmonic resonance, or standing waves in neural tissue. See his Harmonic Resonance In The Brain.
