While Consciousness is representational, what is represented is not reality as is indicated by experiment, but often a simplified illusion that represents reality.but has much of its detail glossed over. The Experience of consciousness is more about the illusions than about the representation, and so those that feel that the experience is the most important part of consciousness, get tied up in the seeming of Qualar nature to experience and fail to see the primitive sensory representations that the experience is based on.

I believe that this is a mistake. That the Qualar effects come because of the nature of binding mechanisms in the perception system, and are not intrinsic to the representation. It is therefore the Illusion of Qualar content that is experienced not the reality of primitives that contribute to an experience.
