Theoreticians, I'm planning on significantly expanding this topic and renaming it to be: "Mormon Doctrine on Spirits". I'm going to rewrite the agreement camp statement to be: "The purpose of this survey topic is to find out what everyone, especially the experts, believe is Mormon Doctrine about our spirits." I also intend on renaming the current [http://canonizer.com/topic.asp/97/4 Models can be tested] camp to be "Approaching Scientific Consensus". I intend to significantly expand the statement to include descriptions of how what Joseph Smith taught about 'refined spiritual matter' was a break from traditional Cartesian Dualism, and point out how he was way ahead of his time in describing what emerging modern theoretical scientific consensus now understands of consciousness and spiritual stuff like qualia.
