I've been studying and digesting this great information off and on for some time now. There is a lot of great stuff here and I'm sorry it has taken so long to get back here.
First off, I'd like to move the standard physics model camp into a supporting position under the "Models Can Be Tested" camp. So if anyone would object to such a move (preventing it from going live) let me know.
Next, I'd like to move my support into this standard physics model camp but have a few questions first, and wonder if we could clear some, what I believe to be important questions up.
I believe a critically important issue has to do with the physics of conscious perception. My understanding is that if we 'see' anything, whether it be ripe red strawberry or God the Father, or whatever, there must be two critical things to keep in mind.
Would I be correct in asserting that this standard physics model would consider perception to be a cause and effect based representational process? There is the initial cause of the perception process, say the strawberry we are looking at, and the final result of the perception process, our knowledge of such, composed of some kind of spiritual stuff or properties in our brain?
If someone 'sees God', we must specify exactly what is meant by this. Certainly, if there is a physical being reflecting light, which is the initial cause of a such a perception, then this would be considered as really physically seeing God. Even if such a 'vision' isn't light based, and not caused via light through the eyes, then there must be some (refined if you must) physical cause and effect process which is resulting in our knowledge of such a vision right? Would all this be consistent with these models?
Finally, Scott, it sounds like you lean toward the Lepton model as the one you think more likely?
Thanks,
