The present City Hall would need to be replaced in 12 yrs. if it's life time is the same as this Fire Station.

I believe this fire station should be remodeled or updated. It is not old enough to replace. For example, the Parks & Rec Building was built in 1927. The existing Sandy City Hall was built in 1998. Before the existing City Hall was built, the current Parks & Rec Building was the old City Hall. Thus, the City Hall was not replaced until it was about 70 yrs. old. This fire station was built in 1984 and is only 38 years old. I am not saying the fire station has to last 70 years, but shouldn't a building built in 1927 have a higher priority?
