Folks, We desperately need a statement for the yes camp. I propose something like the statement included below. I would appreciate any and all input into the development of this statement. As long as the baby is dependent on the mother, it can be considered as owned by the mother as her creation, and the mother should have absolute decision power over it, at least until the baby is able to survive on its own, surely which would include once the baby has been born. We dismiss any other superior claims of creation, such as that God created a baby, and any justification of overriding authority of what the mother wants, as invalid and immoral.
