Hi Eggy1943, Thanks for the great post. I completely agree with your pointing out that if we focus on "achieving both goals, we need not destroy each others dreams". That's exactly one of the big reasons we're developing canonizer.com. So we can keep track of everyone's goals, wishes, and concerns together and make sure nothing gets left behind or ignored. The first most important step towards better getting everyone everything they want is knowing, concisely and quantitatively, what everyone does want. Brent Allsop

It seems there are two camps, one striving to "live in the balance with nature", the other seeking "material wealth" and purchasing the lifestyle desired. Perhaps both could be achieved with long range planning and consideration of both "camps". Clean air, water, community's infrastructure all have opportunity for the entrepreneur and big business. If we focus together on achieving both goals, we need not destroy each others dream.
